🐾 How to Complete the Contract

Step 1: Review Every Section Carefully

Before signing, read through the entire contract. It covers health guarantees, spay/neuter requirements, and ownership responsibilities. If anything is unclear, ask before signing. We’re happy to help clarify.

Step 2: Enter Your Buyer Information and Kitten Details

Fill in your contact information, including your full name, address, phone number, and email. Make sure it appears exactly how you want it listed on your records and your kitten’s registration. Pawzilla Maine Coons will send you your kitten’s details such as name, color, gender, microchip number, and date of birth. Enter this information into the contract before signing to make sure everything is correct. You can fill out the contract directly within our PDF viewer . Click the “View Full Screen” button next to the document to open it in a larger window. Once open, use the Text and Draw tools in the viewer to type your information and add your signature.

Step 3: Sign Electronically

Once all information is complete, sign in the designated area using your mouse, stylus, or finger. Your digital signature is legally binding and holds the same validity as a handwritten signature. If there is more than one owner, each person should sign separately.

Step 4: Save, Download, and Email Your Contract

After filling out and signing, please save or download your contract and email it to pawzillamainecoons@gmail.com. We will sign our portion and send the completed contract back to you.

Spay/Neuter Requirement

We care deeply about the health, temperament, and longevity of every Maine Coon kitten we raise. To protect the integrity of the breed and ensure responsible ownership, spaying or neutering is a mandatory condition of our Purchase Contract for all kittens not sold with breeding rights.

This policy is designed to prevent accidental litters, reduce health risks, and uphold the standards of our cattery. Every family purchasing a kitten from Pawzilla Maine Coons must agree to complete sterilization by one of the following approved methods:

SpaySecure Contract

At Pawzilla Maine Coons, all kittens are placed on a mandatory SpaySecure sterilization agreement. This policy is based on veterinarian guidance and our commitment to protecting the long-term health and development of our kittens. Early spay and neuter will no longer be performed through our own veterinarian.

Every family is required to complete and sign the SpaySecure contract before their kitten goes home. This agreement is a separate legal contract between the purchaser and SpaySecure, and is managed entirely through their system—not through Pawzilla Maine Coons. There is a small fee that must be paid to SpaySecure. It is under $100.

Once the SpaySecure contract is completed and verified, the kitten may be released to the purchaser. SpaySecure will then track and confirm sterilization by the agreed-upon date with your chosen licensed veterinarian.

Breeding Program Exceptions

Kittens approved for breeding programs are exempt from sterilization under separate written agreements that include breeding rights and registration terms.

Understanding Your Pawzilla Contract

When should I complete and return my Pawzilla Maine Coons purchase contract?

Once you’ve been approved and have either selected a kitten or decided to join our waitlist, we’ll provide the details you’ll need to complete the kitten section of the contract. The full contract is available right here on our website for you to fill out.

The contract must be filled out and returned immediately after receiving your kitten’s information. We do not accept deposits until the signed contract has been received, so submitting it promptly should be your first priority once you’ve been approved.

Do I need to sign both the Pawzilla contract and the SpaySecure contract?

Yes. SpaySecure has a separate legal agreement managed directly by SpaySecure, not by Pawzilla Maine Coons. You must sign both contracts before your kitten can go home.

Do I have to fill out the contract digitally, or can I print and send it another way?

You’re welcome to complete the contract digitally or print it and fill it out by hand — whichever works best for you. However, the completed contract must be returned promptly once your kitten has been reserved.

If you choose to print and handwrite your information, please be sure to scan or photograph the pages clearly before sending. We cannot accept blurry or unreadable photos.

Whenever possible, we recommend filling out the contract digitally, as it keeps the document clean, legible, and professional for both parties.

How will I receive my signed copy of the contract?

Once we’ve received and signed your completed contract, we’ll email you a digital copy for your records. We recommend keeping this file for future reference.

What happens if I don’t complete the spay/neuter requirement?

All kittens not sold with breeding rights must be spayed or neutered. Failure to comply is considered a breach of contract and will be enforced through SpaySecure or legal means if necessary.

Who do I contact if I have questions about my contract?

You can email us anytime at pawzillamainecoons@gmail.com. We’re happy to clarify any part of the process before you sign.
