Deposits
A $500 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to reserve a Pawzilla Maine Coon kitten. Deposits are accepted once your application has been approved and you’ve selected your kitten or been matched with a litter.
Once a deposit is placed, that kitten is reserved exclusively for you and immediately removed from availability. Your deposit is applied toward the total purchase price, with the remaining balance due when your kitten is ready to go home.
Because each kitten is individually reserved and no longer offered to other families, deposits cannot be refunded or transferred to another kitten, litter, or date under any circumstances.
Placing a deposit confirms your commitment to adopt and your agreement to the terms outlined in our adoption contract.
Transportation Prices
Bringing home your Maine Coon kitten is an exciting moment, and we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible. While transportation arrangements are ultimately the responsibility of the buyer, we provide several options to assist you. Each method has its own cost, so you can choose the option that best fits your needs.
✈️ Flight Nanny Service
For families outside of driving distance, we can arrange a professional flight nanny to hand-deliver your kitten safely to your nearest major airport. Prices typically range from $615–$1,000 depending on destination, airline fees, and nanny availability. Exact quotes will be provided based on your location.
🚚 Ground Transport
For families who prefer not to fly, we work with safe and reliable ground transporters for your Maine Coon kitten. Your kitten will travel in comfort and care, delivered directly to your home or a nearby meeting point. Ground transport typically ranges from $500–$1,000 depending on distance and route availability. Exact quotes are provided at the time of booking.
🛫 Meet at the Airport
If you choose to fly in, we can personally meet you at the airport with your Maine Coon kitten. This convenient option is available for a $50 service fee and ensures a smooth, stress-free handoff. Our nearest airport is the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
🏡 Pickup in Person
Families are always welcome to pick up their Maine Coon kitten directly from us at no additional cost. This option allows you to meet us in person and make your kitten’s homecoming extra special. We are located in the Raleigh, NC area.
Spay/Neuter Prices
We care deeply about the health and longevity of every Maine Coon we raise. All kittens are required to be spayed or neutered unless approved for a breeding program. The information below explains how this requirement is fulfilled and the related costs.
SpaySecure Contract
At Pawzilla Maine Coons, the health and long-term well-being of our kittens always come first. We’ve chosen to partner exclusively with SpaySecure, a trusted third-party service that verifies the safe and timely spay or neuter of each kitten after going home.
Early sterilization can have negative effects on a kitten’s growth and development, especially for a slow-maturing breed like the Maine Coon. By allowing kittens to reach the appropriate age before surgery, we’re giving them the best possible start for a long, healthy life.
SpaySecure provides a simple and secure process to ensure every Pawzilla kitten is altered at the right time. After adoption, the new owner works directly with SpaySecure to confirm proof of surgery once their kitten is old enough. This ensures that every kitten placed through our program remains protected and that all families meet their contractual agreement in a professional and transparent way.
At Pawzilla Maine Coons, every decision we make is guided by what’s best for our kittens’ long-term health and development. For that reason, all of our kittens are placed unaltered and must be spayed or neutered through our verified partner, SpaySecure.
We no longer offer the option to have kittens altered through our own veterinarian. Large breeds like the Maine Coon develop more slowly, and waiting until they reach the appropriate age for surgery helps protect their growth, bone health, and overall well-being.
SpaySecure makes this process simple and trustworthy for everyone involved. After adoption, new owners work directly with SpaySecure to confirm their kitten’s procedure once the time is right. The program provides verification to us and ensures that each family completes their agreement responsibly and on schedule.
There is a small program fee, under $100, which is paid directly to SpaySecure at the time of registration—not to Pawzilla Maine Coons. This helps cover their administrative costs and keeps the program affordable for all families.
